Weeds in the Cracks:

Sprinkle household table salt (with iodine) directly on weeds in cracks or pavers.  The iodine will kill the weeds in a couple of days and there is no worry of harmful chemicals to kids or pets.

Summer Mold:

A solution of half white vinegar and water in a spray bottle will keep away most mold that appears outside or in your bathroom.   For stronger mold, use vinegar full strength and then rinse with water after a few minutes.  Unlike bleach, vinegar is natural and will not damage paint or tile and is safe to use in the home.
